Truckman has introduced access and work platform model tl-28 with a capacity up to 350 kg. These are available with single, double up to five scissors reaching up to the height of 10 metres. The maximum working height is limited by the length of scissors provided. The scissors mechanism provides the maximum stability as compared to lifting by telescopic columns. The lifting muscle is usually twin hydraulic cylinder commensurate with the lifting capacity. The hydraulic power can be provided by various options: single or double hand pump and electrically operated hydraulic power pack. The standard version is having two fixed wheels and two-swivel wheels coupled with screw type parking arrangement. The unit can be moved by manual power or by differential drive. Two limit switches [optional] are provided for limiting the raised height as well as the lowered height. User areas are overhead lighting, crane building maintenance, mobile flood lighting, overhead piping and aircraft maintenance, etc.
