Cv meter is used to measure cohesive value for creams. The cv meter is available in table top model with two round platforms. The cv meter is designed to ensure the top platform is stationary and the bottom platform is moving. The cv meter displays the value in grams.

• Cohesive Value for creams is measured by C V METER.
• It is a table top instrument.
• It has got two round platform. Top platform is stationary and bottom is moving vertically up and down at a constant speed.
• The cream is pasted on top of bottom Platform and brought to the contact with top platform so that both platforms come to contact with cream.
• Before pulling bottom platform downward, see the digital display is on and showing zero (0) load in grams.
• Pull the bottom platform downwards and observe the display. Load is increasing and at the time of separation of two platforms, it show the maximum load required to separate two platforms.
• The maximum load will be hold by display. This is known as pick hold value.
• The display will show zero ( 0 ) only after pressing “Pre Set Button” of display.
