Portable hardness testers [model alp-1] presented by fine manufacturing industries, small protable hardness testers having weight around 1 kg. These hardness testers are used for testing hardness aluminium, aluminium alloy, copper, brass and other soft material having hardness from 25 to 150 bhn [10 mm ball/500 kg load]. The hardness tester can be used in any position. Hardness reading is mentioned on the dial gauge which is shared into hundred graduations. The thickness of materials should be minimum 1 mm thick. For testing the surface, light pressure against the machine is exetred, so that the spring loaded indicators will penetrate into the material.
