Electro-arts offers pump guard + timer for controlling the level of water in overhead tanks. This unit automates the entire function of pump control and ensures availability of water in the tank. In many cases, there are two pumps, which are used for pumping the water to overhead tanks. One of the pump is normally bore well or submersible pump and another pump is for pumping the water from underground tank. Electro-arts pump guard + timer controls both the pumps thus keeping both always active.
This product has two outputs. One is timer output and another is sensor output. In over head tanks, there are two sensors to sense lower level and upper level of water. As the level of water goes below the lower level sensor, timer output is on and remains on for preset time. A bore well pump can be connected to this output so that bore well pump will remain on for preset time. After the time is over, timer output will become automatically off and sensor output will be on making another pump for underground tank, on. As level of water in overhead tank reaches up to upper level sensor, sensor output will become off and the pump will stop automatically.
Separate sensor is available for under ground tank and pump operates only if there is water available in under ground water tank. Most important part is float sensor. They are specially developed to sense water level in the tank. Led indications are provided for easy function of unit. Output of unit is through 3-pin socket and input supply is also through 3-pin plug. So unit can be by-passed within no time, whenever required. Also all the sensors are connected to the unit by d-connector. So unit can be replaced easily without any difficulty, in case required. Unit also has a facility to start the pump any time, as and when required. Separate model is available in case of two over head tanks.
This unit is very simple to install.
