Abbott toolfast manufactures mould clamps for low height applications, such as clamping of moulds on plastic injection moulding machines and pressure die casting machines. The mould clamps are available with a compact front portion that enables to penetrate into limited clamping area of the mould and clamp it. To set the center distance between clamping portion and clamping bolt as per nearest tapped hole on platen is done by positioning of forged swivel washer on required curved groove of the clamp. The rear portion rests on the platen and the front holds the mould with no need of supports. Flanged nut takes care of the positioning of clamp body and is tightened on the swivel washer. These mould clamps are useful for applications on pressure die casting machines, hydraulic presses & power presses where low height clamping is done.
