Synards sealed co lasers are useful for variety of industrial processes including cutting, welding, drilling, and marking, featured here are some of the interesting materials and products that are processed daily by this line of co lasers and marking heads. The laser can be used to mark most plastics. Delrin, found in a wide range of applications from electronics to automotive parts, results in non-contrasting, engraved marks when marked with a 25 w laser. The (2 mm high) marksshown on the delrin part in the photo to the left were made at a speed of 20/"sec. The entire mark, consisting of 18 alphanumeric characters was completed in a cycle time of 0.25 second using a win mark pro stroke font.
