Mas sealingh systems supplies mas joint sealant, which is chemically inert 100% expanded ptfe fluorocarbon material. Salient features: though very soft it has very high tensile strength, flexible and tough properties. It conforms easily to irregular surfaces, and forms thin, wide ribbon under pressure. It is used in corrosive chemicals and fluctuating temperatures. It does not cold flow or creep. It replaces gaskseting materials like asbestos, rubber, etc. Technical specifications of the joint sealant: material - 100% pure ptfe, produced in an expanded microporous structure; temperature - -240°c to +270°c [for short bursts +310°c]; ph range - 0-14 ph except molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine; and pressure - 3000 psi [210 bar]. Fields of applications for the joint sealant: all media with ph value 0-14, e.G., acids, caustics, solvents, paints, oils, grease, steam, etc; food applications and also in vacuum; equipments, glass lined vessels, gearboxes, flanges, heat exchangers, man-hole covers, tanks, ducts, reactors, compressors or pump housing, flanges - in short all industrial applications requiring a long life trouble free sealing.
