The integral speed reduction unit of the plunger metering pumps consist of a worm wheel which transmits rotary motion to main drive shaft converting this into reciprocating motion of cross head through the eccentric and connecting rod. The crank of the plunger metering pumps can be moved up or down by means of the control knob which changes eccentricity and stroke length. This is indicated as a percentage of the full stroke on the micrometer/mechanical counter.
