These gas coupling are highly suitable for applications where gas or fluid lines are to be connected and disconnected frequently and under pressure, and also where leakage rates have to be minimal. The couplings are two check valves, which open in case connection [mating and close on disconnection. They are available in stainless steel, aluminum and brass. Hallmarks are ease of connection, disconnection, eliminating use of any sealant/sealant tape, automatic shut off for both sides on disconnection, connection/disconnection possible under pressurized condition, specially designed metal sealing [non-deteriorating], three way sealing ensures that the product is totally leak proof. These couplings are also used where extremely low media loss is permissible on disconnection, and where usable life under adverse and hostile conditions without any deterioration is a must.
