This power density can only be reached by the usage of the synchronous motor. This spindle offers tool interface hsk e 32 for fully automatic tool change. Typical applications of this spindle are drilling of steel and titanium or milling of steel mould and dies. The possibility of tapping and option of coolant through shaft are the next development steps that are being targeted for this spindle. To operate this spindle, the new drive module pcb 11 has to be used. The drive module contains pwm frequency converter pcb11 with special software.
