Modern tools manufactures machless all geared double column radial drilling machine in 40 mm cast iron drilling capacity. Rigid heavy-duty construction and high accuracy are the hallmark of this model. It has graded casting of its main body parts and all moving parts are made of alloy steel, hardened and ground. All gears and drilling shaft are force lubricated while in operation by a concurrent lubricating pump. Elevating mechanism of the radial arm is independently powered and provided with safety limit switches against overshooting. The machine has 9 spindle speeds and 4 auto feeds. It also has a precision depth-controlling device with automatic stop at the preset depth. It comes with electricals, coolant pump and working lamp as standard equipment. Working table of size 520 x 415 x 410 mm is available as option.
