Ludwig flow equipments offers a unique ipc cleaning system maintaining all the standards of cleanliness as per cgmp. It consists of a frame on which the ipc is loaded. With the help of an adjusting screw different sizes of ipc tanks can be loaded. It requires an air pressure of 7 kg/cm2. After loading the ipc tank in the frame, it enters into a tank has a similar design of the ipc tank, this system can also be a tailor-made to suit according to the design of the ipc tanks. This holding tank for ipc is at an angle of 45° in a horizontal position and consists of a shaft carrying four spray balls. This shaft fits inside the ipc tank. The spray ball consists of nozzles and out of which two-spray balls are rotary ie, they rotate to an angle of 360° giving a better cleaning effect. The cleaning cycles include: cold water cleaning [rinsing]; detergent wash; hot water cleaning; steam [sanitization]; and filtered compressed air for drying. Based on the individual needs the processes can be modified. The entire cycle takes a time of 5 to 6 minute and consuming minimum amount of water. The above cleaning process is totally sterile and can be validated. This system is plc based and can be operated by a single person reducing manpower. Filters are provided to reuse the used water for the cleaning. The external nozzles provided radically on the pipes take care of the external cleaning of the ipc tanks.
