Kavitsu techniques introduces an innovative type of gearbox. It acts more effectively for stirring, mixing and agitating the fluid or material. It gives the best results particularly for mixing of two liquids with different characteristics, which are difficult to mix. For eg, water and oil. The gearbox has two output shafts coming out from the same axis. The center shaft is solid and the outer one is hollow. The two shafts rotate at different speed with relative ratio of around 2. More ratios can also be offered. The central shaft is faster and the outer shaft rotates at slower speed. The direction of rotation of these two shafts is opposite to each other. Because of this the churning or stirring is effective, which means a saving of power and time. Both the shafts are mounted on taper roller bearings, which eliminates an additional requirement of bearing housing. The selection of the bearing is such that it can take the necessary axial load of the stirrer. The central shaft is given with a key to adopt the stirrer and outer shaft is provided with a flange to bolt the stirrer. These gearboxes are offered in a range upto 150 kw and torque capacities of 1,00,000 nm. By adopting the auxiliary gearbox, one can offer speeds of shafts to the minimum possible level.
