Kali srp technologies offersintroduces damini, a microprocessor controlled, completely indigenous, high speed, small-component, pick and place robot. This pick & place robotit is ideal for feeding components into any machine tool such as a press, milling machine, etc, inspection units. These high speed pick & place robot is also ideal, and for assembly operations. Damini is a robotic system with 3 degrees of freedom. This robotic system which automatically loads components from the feeder device-[ hopper, vibratory bowl feeder, indexing conveyors] to the machine zone. The robotic system is adaptable to different types of grippers such as magnetic, vacuum, pneumatically operated mechanical jaw type, etc. These robots are manufactured forit has been designed to handlinge even small components with a higher degree of repeatability. These ccomponents can be unloaded from the machine by the robot itself or ejected pneumatically or otherwise which . It can load up to 16,000 components in an 8 hour shift, roughly 3 times the average [per shift] loading speed of a human operator. Com-ponents weighing up to 400 g can be fed to a metal forming/ cutting machine/press, at a speed of above 36 loadings/un-loadings per minute. This robot and has a repeatability of better than 50 microns.
