Manufactures a microprocessor controlled, completely-indigenous, high speed, small component pick and place robot, which are used for feeding components into any machine tool, such as press, milling machine, inspection units and for assembly operations. The machine is a 3-degree freedom robotic systemthat automatically loads components from the feeder device [hopper, vibratory bowl feeder, indexing conveyors] to the machine zone. The automatic system can adjust to different types of grippers such as magnetic, vacuum, pneumatically operated, mechanical jaw type, etc. The high-speed low-cost machine can manage even small components with a high degree of repeatability. The machine itself can unload the components or the component can be pneumatically removed. The machine is trade named as damini, and it can load up to 16,000 components in an 8-hour shift, roughly 3 times the average [per shift] loading speed of a human operator. This high-speed low-cost machine feeds components weighing up to 400 g to a metal forming/cutting machine/press, at a speed of above 36 loadings/unloading per minute and provides a repeatability of better than 50 microns.
