Digital cool arts-sb is a sensor-based controller that automatically switches the fan motor situated on top of the cooling tower on off, with respect to the temperature of the water. This temperature is sensed with a 2` long sensor fitted on to the water tank, below the cooling tower. The fan motor runs for the required time only. The unnecessary running of fan motor is thus avoided, thereby saving a lot of energy/power and water. This results in recurring savings, without affecting the cooling efficiency. The savings are to the tune of up to 70%. These savings particularly increase during night shifts, winter season, when the load on cooling tower is less, etc. The operation is completely automatic. There is a continuous display of water temperature. It has facility to set hooter warning temperature. Built-in hour meters to calculate, verify cum monitor the savings.
