Eltecks corporation has introduced an electrically conductive silver grease, grade 1220-sg. This is useful to maintain smooth and stable electrical contact between -55oc to +250oc, in electrical equipments. It is a single component, silver-filled silicon conductive grease that is of non-setting type. It is silver-grey in colour, and supplied in grease such as consistency in ready-to-use condition. It is applicable to vertical or steep surfaces without dripping due to high viscosity. A specific gravity is 2.6, volume resistivity is 0.02 ohm/cm and has unlimited shelf life. It maintains its characteristics like lubricating and electrical properties, stability over wide ranging environ-mental conditions as:
- high and low temperatures;
- resistance to moisture and humidity,
- resistance to various chemicals, ozone and radiation, etc.
