Product Profile of White Odourless& Tasteless Wax
White Odour & Tasteless Wax is a solid available with a typical melting point between about 47 degree C and 64 degree C. The Wax has a density of around 0.9 g/cm3. The Wax is insoluble in water, but soluble in ether, benzene, and certain esters. White Odourless& Tasteless Wax is unaffected by most common chemical reagents, but burns readily and comes in two types like bees wax and micro crystaline wax.
Eastern Petroleum Private Limited manufactures White Odourless& Tasteless Wax. Eastern Petroleum Private Limited also supplies different types of automotive oil, industry oil, industry specialty oil, grease, metal working fluid, textile oil, marine oil, specialty oil and wax, sulphonate, solvents, base oil, emulsifiers, fuel additives, filter aid powder, oil etc.
White Odourless& Tasteless Wax has the following features:
- Available as a white, odourless, tasteless, waxy solid, with a typical melting point between about 47 degree C and 64 degree C [ 116.6degree F to 147.2degree F]
- Has a density of around 0.9 g/cm3
- It is insoluble in water, but soluble in ether, benzene, and certain esters
- Is unaffected by most common chemical reagents, but burns readily
- Is an excellent electrical insulator, with an electrical resistively of between 1013 and 1017 ohm metre
Applications of White Odourless& Tasteless Wax are:
- Useful to modify the crystal properties of the paraffin wax/ Oil, typically by adding branching to the existing carbon backbone chain
- The modification is usually done with additives, such as Eva copolymers, microcrystalline wax, or forms of polyethylene
- The branched properties result in modified paraffin with a higher viscosity, smaller crystalline structure, and modified functional properties
- Used in the manufacture of bees wax papers, candles, cosmetics, modelling, artificial fruits and flowers etc
- In process of engraving, shoe polishes, plasters and ointments
