Dynaspede offers Centre-wind Tension Controls CTC series for less stringent tension control applications. This indirect form of tension control relies on an electronic computation of instantaneous roll diameter, to regulate the torque constantly against varying diameters during turndown or build-up of the rolls. Standard features include zero-speed sensing, taper setting, inertia compensation and more. These controls are adaptable for use with different forms of brakes/ clutches.
