Canary electricals offers vulcan pedal operated rocker arm type spot welding machines. These are available in 6, 8, 10 and 15 kva models, each with three standard throat depths to cover practically all applications. All machines are manufactured from steel fabricated rigid structures to eliminate the minutest spot deflections, low leakage [high linkage] design, proper cooling and insulation. Current setting from minimum to maximum value can be performed by 6 position, off load rotary type tap switch. Solid state electronic timer controls weld time from 5 to 50 cycles and 1 to 10 seconds to attain accurate and repeatable spots. Electrodes, holders and arms are given with water cooling arrangements with hose connections. Depending on the number of electrodes used, spot welds may be made one at a time or several welds may be completed at one time. The electrodes are generally water-cooled to dissipate the heat and cool the weld as quickly as possible,. Spot welders are utilised extensively for welding steel, and when designed with an electronic timer, usable for other commercial metals like aluminium, copper, and stainless steel. They are also very effective for welding galvanized metal.
