All the sliding surfaces of this chuck are hardened and ground for accurate running and long service. Standard hard jaws and soft jaws are provided for chucking the special components. The Wedge design of the Wedge Type Big Bore Chucks has a self locking feature, that prevents accidents and it does not loose its gripping power even at cutting loads. Each base jaw is provided with a lubricating nipple to ensure long and trouble free life. These chucks compact, rigid and light in weight, but they also offer a powerful grip along with high repeatability. They are ideal for high-speed chucking, bar chucking, universal machining and especially suitable for CNC machines.
