These vacuum/pressure pumps for automatic printing machines are rotary sliding vanes, oil lubricated type and directly coupled to a three-phase 1440-rpm ac electric motor and both mounted on a sturdy base plate. These pumps are designed to give vacuum and pressure at the same time and eliminate the need for two separate units. These pumps are made from specially treated steel vanes that ensure silent running and negligible wear on stator, end covers and rotor slots, thus increasing the life of the pump. The incoming air passes through a fine filter encased in a suction box before entering the pump. The regulation of vacuum and pressure can be precisely done to suit any requirement.These pumps also havea unique design of lubrication system which feeds minimum quantity of oil to all important points. The oil from the exhaust is baffled, collected and returned to the oil chamber.
