Acmevac has introduced oil free diaphragm pumps. These are usable either as vacuum pumps or oil free compressors and are equipped for uncontaminated delivery of air, gases or vapours. They are also useful for oil free air and vacuum production without environmental contamination through oil mist. Since these units are diaphragm type, there is no rubbing of parts and negligible wear and tear. It does not require any lubrication . Heads are manufactured from aluminium alloy castings and the diaphragms are manufactured from neoprene rubber or other elastomers, depending on applications. It has specially designed motors in single phase and three phase constructions. These pumps are placed on rubber pads for silent, vibration free running. These pumps are suitable for laboratories and original equipment manufacturers thanks to its compact design. Single stage and two stage models are also available. These pumps find applications in laminating press, materials handling equipment, labeling machines, dye casting machines, plastic welding machines, gas welding machines, vacuum soldering irons, agitation of film in drying tanks, agitation of chemicals in electroplating tanks, cement aeration, glass forming, paint spraying, etc.
