It is specially designed for quick determination of moisture content of materials in powder form viz. Soil, sand, coal pottery slip, cement etc. This rapid moisture meter follows acetylene gas generation principle. This device shows moisture on wet / weight basis. It can be easily converted to dry weight basis. The unit is equipped with a pressure vessel with clamp for sealing cap, rubber sealing gasket, pressure gauge on wet weight basis. This rapid moisture meter also consists of a counter poised balance for weighing sample, one bottle of reagent approx. 450 gram, a scoop to measure carbide reagent, one cleaning brush and steel balls for through mixing. It is also provided with wooden carrying box with handle.
