The evaporative gas cooling systems are used for cooling and conditioning system for upgrading/ retrofitting, existing pollution control systems - water spray systems/gas conditioning towers/bag houses/esps in steel plants, and mineral processing industry. The system works on the principal of introducing specific amount of water which is atomized to 50 smd and below, by use of these nozzles which are also wear and abrasion resistant. Droplet sizes are controlled for given delta- t, so that full evaporation is achieved in the given residence time. Operational logic control parameters can be set by monitoring of variables to ensure proper droplet sizing at all times. Since cooling reduces the volume of gas, bag house size is also reduced. The turbosonic evaporative system is equipped with automatic controls which ensure cooling without wetting walls, refractory spalling, sludge built up, water carry-over, etc.
