Ravika instruments manufactures a dead weight vacuum gauge tester used for calibration of vacuum gauges and other sensing, transmitting and vacuum recording instruments. This is a quick and convenient method of testing, eliminating the error caused by mercury manometer. The tester comprises of a hand operated screw pump to generate the vacuum conveniently and precisely. A free piston assembly of special steel, hardened, tempered ground and lapped to accurate size having fine finish for true floating action is mounted on a rigid stand and sturdy base plate with levelling screws. A set of weights marked directly in convenient values of vacuum is also provided with the tester.
