Data acquisition through these instruments can be programmable or user initiated. The measurement system software generates tabulated reports and graphs, which includes run chart, control chart, histogram, and value of cp, cpc and sigma. And tthe analysis can be done shift-wise, day-wise, monthly, or yearly. The system can be hooked up in the lan so that all the information is available at any node in a factory.
