The polax-2l digital polarimeter enables one to look through the eyepiece and match brightness at the left and right of the visual field with push button switches with its measured value indicated digitally on the display panel. Moreover, the temperature of the sample chamber can be indicated on the display panel by pressing the shift/temperature switch and the led based light source is used in this series. The wavelength of 589 mm equivalent to d-line of the sodium is ensured by using, interference filter together with led and addition pushbuttons are used to rotate the analyzer which provides ease in operation and accuracy with measurable range: angle of rotation - +180o to -179.95o; international standard sugar scale +138o8 to -130o; minimum unit displayed: -0.05o [0.12].
