Datalogic india manufactures formula 530 and formula 630 optical pen terminals which are portable terminals with integrated optical scanner, providing improved reading capability and resolution. These memory pen are ideal for data acquisition activities such as stock control, stocktaking, warehousing, order picking, retail sales and even waiter service, where size, weight and cost requirements are the determining factors. The memory pen is protected against dust, water-jettings and electrostatic discharges. These are able to read all bar code symbologies used in industry and commerce today, under any ambient light conditions, from direct sunlight to total darkness. The formula 530 is a sturdy terminal equipped with a ram of 64 kb, a silicon rubber activation key and a pre-loaded application program. The formula 630 allows easy and productive working operations thanks to its 4 lines by 16 character lcd display and the software controlled icons. It is equipped with a ram memory of 128 kb, one activation key and two scroll keys for memory query. The display pen formula 630, available with a pre-loaded application, is also fully programmable in c language for more customized applications. Data transfer to the pc takes place via rs-232 serial connection by simply putting the pen terminals into the special formula 951 optical transceiver/ charger.
