These are designed for high proof pressure. `B` series switches use a diaphragm sealed piston actuator. As the pressure on the calibrated piston increase, the adjusted spring force is over come and the snap action switch is activated. The piston is sealed from the process by a diaphragm. The enclosure is die cast aluminum and is available in weather proof and explosion proof version. A wide variety of SPDT and dual [2] SPDT snap action switches are available. Most of the ranges / weather proof & explosion proof as per gas group IIA/IIB&IIC and even for highly corrosive / viscous application with sealed diaphragm unit having Hastalloy `C` and Monel wetted parts.
