Srikesh engineering has launched third generation spring grid shaft coupling for industrial application. It is said to be the derivative of flexible, geard, chain and tyre coupling because of its versatile characteristics. The gridshaft coupling has a unique capacity of absorbing three times of the initial shockload and shaft misalignment up to 2 mm. It has also flexibility of overall fitment and overall running capacity to absorb shocks besides its basic property to transmit high torque. The coupling is manufactured from alloy steel hub which is precisely grooved. Special alloy spring is fitted on the grooving and assembled on the top by split covers. The coupling is flame-proof, spark and dust-proof. It is suitable for refineries and hazardous conditions.
