Athena controls offers a family of panel-mounted universal process controllers. These universal process controllers are available in four sizes, i.E. 96 mm x 96 mm, 48 mm x 48 mm and 24 mm x 48 mm. Each model is microprocessor-controlled with on-demand auto tuning and complete on/off through full pid functionality. Single-channel controllers provide accurate, closed-loop control without setpoint overshoot. The xt series accepts signal inputs from a wide range of probes and sensors, including k, j, n, r, t and s thermocouples; rtds; and linear inputs, including 4-20 ma to 1-5 volts and other industry-standard current and voltage ranges. Standard features on all setpoint, dual output/dual alarm and transfer. Some of the options include rs-232/rs-485 bi-directional communications and remote setpoint selected. Other available features include process variable transmission, heater break alarm and dual i/o card. All of the controllers feature dedicated submenus that make parameter setting and changing easy and foolproof.
