Pragan engineers manufactures a point-of-use pneumatic lubricator useful to ensure fail-proof lubrication of pneumatic tools. These include pneumatic screw drivers, riveting guns, nut runners, etc, normally running at high speeds. The lubricator is fixed at the inlet of the tool in series with the tool. Air input to the tool will go through the lubricator. The lubricator has a transparent body, through which the operator can monitor the presence of lubricating oil, thus ensuring that the tool is never run dry. While running in mist form, the lubricator introduces a pre-determined quantity of oil in the air stream. The arrangement includes advantages over conventional centralized lubrication as given below:
- less wastage of lubrication oily eliminating oil loss in the incoming airlines; and,
- since the lubricator is mounted on the tool the operator, can ensure that the tool is always run with adequate lubrication. Thus reducing breakdowns due to poor lubrication.
