Fluidyne instruments manufactures latest generation flame arrestors. These flame arrestors are useful for stopping propagation of flame by absorbing and dissipating heat through large surface area of bank sheets. Ignited vapour attempting to pass through arrestor is forced through small passages within the bank assembly. Heat is absorbed, lowering gas temperature below its ignition point and quenching flame. The flame arrestors can be applied in chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries for application like storage tank facilities, flare stacks incineration systems, storage tank roofs or digester converter to prevent confined and unconfined deflagration propagation. The large channel openings in the flame arrestors provide excellent pressure drop to flow and enhanced flow characteristics and reduces over size and cost of both flame arrestor and piping. The machines also enable higher operating pressures.
