Subtronics presents metal detectors [model sub-2501 a]. The working of these detectors are based on the principle of eddy current. These metal detectors work on 9 v dc battery continuously for three hours. These detectors detect one rupee coin from a distance of approximately one-inch. In fact, they have visual power indication [green led] and visual [red led] warning indication with alarm beep. Being low-cost devices, they are useful during festivals better from the safety point of view. The metal detectors have course and fine control knobs. Battery is located at the bottom with screw type lid with on/off switch.
