Umang pharamtech`s fluid bed coater is suitable for spray coating of fine pellets of drugs and course powder. The powder/beads are coated with the help of a wurster design product chamber with bottom spray nozzle and partition in the center of distribution plate. The distribution plate is well designed to give uni-directional flow for uniform coating without dead pocket. The beads when coated with the solution are airborne to such a height that they reach near the filter assembly, and when they start falling back, are fairly dry when reaching the product chamber for further coating. All contact parts of spray coater are of ss 316. The other parts of ss 304; ss 316 pleated filter with sequential cleaning arrangement during operation. It has ac control for blower to achieve the desired fluidization as per product density and batch size. A range of optional accessories are available. The main advantages of spray coater is that coating can be done with the minimum loss of spraying and it is 3-4 times faster method than conventional coating pan method.
