- Soluble in benzene, methylbenzene, chloroform, carbon disulfide, carbon tetrachloride, methylene chloride, acetone and ethyl acetate
- Not easily soluble in ethyl alcohol;
- Insoluble in water, dilute acid, dilute alkali and gasoline.
