Kasthuri machine builders has introduced a milling machine, model kmt 0.5. This is a low cost high production milling machine constructed according to isi standard. The machine is driven by v belt and is constricted rigidly in order to avoid vibrations. The column and table are manufactured from graded castings, ground and scraped where necessary. Spindle is of high carbon high chromium steel, hardened and ground to maintain the accuracy. Specifications of these machines are as follows:
