Afcil industries limited has a range of afcifix. These are, afcifix 71/72, afcifix 71/ 72/ 73, afcifix 81.
Afcifix 71/72 is self-setting medium viscosity inorganic adhesive for cold to cold faces of moulds and cores. Afcifix 73 self-setting medium viscosity resin based adhesive for hot to hot faces of moulds and cores.
Afcifix 71/ 72/ 73 develops a bond of moderate strength when used for jointing purposes suitable for co2 process.
Afcifix 81 is a quick air drying sealing compound. It is used to seal core joints and core/ mould imperfections, reducing excessive cleaning time of finished castings.
