Vanashree Agrotech manufactures and exports several medicinal and aromatic plants. Medicinal and aromatic plants are used in making various herbal medicines; Vanashree Agrotech takes proper care of the plants, to ensure that the ingredients and the constituents of the plants are maintained. Patchouli plants are cultivated and manufactured by the Vanashree Agrotech. Patchouli plants are well-known for their pleasant fragrances and thus are used in manufacturing perfumes. Vanashree Agrotech plants and cultivates Patchouli in both their own farm as well as they cultivate Patchouli through contract-Farming. Vanashree Agrotech delivers special training to the farmers for planting of the Patchouli plants. For cultivation, Patchouli plants require a temperature between 25 degree to 40 degree Celsius, with humidity above 60%. The Patchouli yield per acre varies between 3 MT to 5 MT depending upon irrigation system, soil, fertilizers. Thus, Patchouli plants are beneficial crop to the farmers.
