Solenoid Valve consists of stationary magnet fixed in the Stainless Steel core tube, moving magnet [placed inside the core tube] and coil housing. When the coil is energized, the Electro magnetic field around the stationary magnet pulls the moving magnet towards the stationary magnet. A seal attached to the moving magnet allows the passage of the air. When the coil is de-energized, the moving magnet is pushed downwards with the help of spring closing the passage of the air. It finds application in Automobile, Air Dryer, Compressor, Air Control System, Machine Tools and Irrigation.
