The Motor Accessories Kit is used to demonstrate the principles of the shaded pole motor and the effects of eddy current. It incorporates one plain, one slotted and an aluminium motor disc with a pole shading piece and a pair of quadrant shaped eddy current plates. One of the transformer pole pieces is provided with a vertical support rod to carry two transverse holes.
