It also has mirror suspended coil having a spring at lower end and long suspension at the upper end. These springs and suspension are made using phosphor bronze alloy. This is also provided with rigid and robust Bakelite case. It also provides clamping arrangement for transportation. This Ballistic Galvanometer ensures consistent sensitivity for a longer period.
