Product Profile of Two Piece Design Butterfly Valve

Two Piece Design Butterfly Valve incorporates the design features to provide long trouble free service in the field with minimal maintenance and has a full PTFE split type two piece design body with a centric disc construction and is available in wafer lugged style body pattern to ensure precise location in pipeline. The Valve eliminates media contact with any metallic surface of the valve and the PTFE seat liner covers the entire wetted surface of the body and extends on to the flange contact faces, thus eliminating possibility of any media contact with the body metal. The Valve has a fully circular back up elastomer and live loaded disc shoulder sealing ensures bubble tight closing of the valve with zero shaft leakage and the valve is adaptable for on/ off as well as control duty and can be fitted with actuators and accessories as required to meet the specific duty conditions. The Two Piece Design Butterfly Valve has a integrally moulded spherical profile seat with a matching profile on the disc shoulder ensures perfect sealing with minimum operating torque and prevents any fluid ingress into the shaft bores.
