The Roto-Skimmer consists of a slotted steel pipe installed with the edge of the slot slightly above the liquid surface, so that when the edge is rotated below the surface, floating material and some liquid flow into the pipe openings and are flushed out of the tank for disposal. Roto-Skimmer is available in four basic types: lever, rack & pinion, worm gear and motor operated.
