Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd offers Hollow Fiber Membranes. Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd is ISO 9000-2000 and ISO 14001 certified. The Hollow Fiber Membranes are used to produce high quality treated water. Due to its fine pore size of up to 0.1 micron, the Hollow Fiber Membrane ensures complete removal of silt, colloids, bacteria, cyst such as Cryptospordium and Giardia up to log 6. At the same time, it concentrates removed particles for further processing or disposal.
The individual membrane known as sub-module contains thousands of hollow fibers surrounded by a protective plastic screen and sealed with polyurethane "pots" at both ends. The top pot allows filtered water to pass from the hollow inner core, or lumen, of the membrane fibers to the filtrate manifold. The bottom pot seals the ends of the fibers but allows low pressure process air to pass through a series of holes to the outside surface of the membranes within the fiber bundle during backwash. Sub-modules are firstly connected to groups of four via a sub-manifold. Sub-manifolds are connected via a stainless steel manifold to form a module rack of sub-manifolds. The filtrate connection is via each top sub-manifold whilst backwash airflow is connected via a central tube over the bottom sub-manifolds.
