Shachi Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Is a TUV certified ISO 9001: 2000 organization manufacturing Dairy Plants. The Dairy Plants consist of a multiple effect evaporator with or without pasteurizer and a spray dryer. Multiple effect evaporators are used for concentration of dilute liquid milk having initial concentration in the range of 8 to 10 percent. Dilute milk is concentrated up to about 46-48 percent concentration. This concentrated milk is then treated in spray dryer. The liquid milk is converted into powder form having concentration of about 97-99 percent. With regard to Dairy Plants, the multi-effect evaporator system used for milk concentration is a combination of two or more evaporative effects acting as an evaporator battery. An effect consists of a Calendria and a vapor liquid separator. Calendria is a shell having a number of tubes bundled together. Steam is used to evaporate water present in dilute milk, concentrating it to desired degree of concentration. Steam is circulated in the shell of calendria. Milk in the tubes gets heated and evaporated due to steam surrounding the tubes. Vapor along with concentrated milk is passed over to vapor liquid separator. Vapor is separated and allowed to pass over to next calendria as a heating medium for that effect.
