The S. S. 304/Chilled Cast Iron Three Roll Mill is used for grinding & dispersing of inks, paints, chocolates carbon pastes, polymers, rubber, coatings, etc. S. F. Engineering Works offers S. S. 304/Chilled Cast Iron Three Roll Mill consists of three rollers operating at different speeds. The material is fed between the fist two rolls and is discharged from the final roll by a scrapper blade. The paste passing between the rolls is subjected to high stress & frictional forces resulting in the breaking up & separation of the particle to produce a finely dispersed film. The gap adjustment between the rolls can be done manually or hydraulically. The rollers are independently cooled by a water circulating facility. The rolls are available in S. S. 304 or Chilled Cast Iron construction. The Three Roll Mill has optional hydraulic roll setting adjustment. The Three Roll Mill comes in 6 models ranging from 1 to 20 HP.
