These incinerators find their application for application in hospitals, industries, hotels, abattoirs and for disposal of carcasses, municipal wastes, etc. Structural arrangements of incinerators are as follows;
1]the incinerator is designed as a closed chamber furnace with primary and secondary chambers in which waste is completely burnt by means of fuel fired flames.
2] the furnace incorporates special design features to ensure smoke free burning. This is achieved by principle of complete combustion in the primary chamber.
3] the side air jets and secondary chamber air jets are provided for achieving complete combustion as a standard feature.
4]the flue gases coming out of secondary chamber are effectively treated for controlled pollution norms.
