Motherson techno tools offers a high speed milling cutter from sumitomo for cast iron milling, rm cutter. Utilizing solid cbn insert bns 800, this cutter works at a very high cutting speed of 1500m/min. High speed roughing with depths upto 3mm is also possible. With the wiper insert, extremely good surface can be achieved. The cutter has a simple design for direct mounting with easy run out adjustment of inserts, thereby enabling consistent surface quality even at very high speeds. The cutter uses cbn inserts, which have eight corners in two different nose radii thus making it a cost effective, high productivity tooling solution.
